    My father, Robert Hammond, began building homes in the Dayton area in the 1950s.  From him I learned the  values of hard work, integrity and pride in craftsmanship.  Whether I’ve worked as a carpenter, a vocational school instructor in building trades, or the nearly twenty years I’ve spent serving as a protestant minister, I have always been guided by these principles.
